East Europe Day 2

Okay, finally a post of Day 2! :D since using past tense is a bit tiresome, I switch to present tense in this post haha. Just thought I might as well tell you to avoid confusion;) Btw, HUGE POST ALERT!

Guess what we visit on day 2?

Right. So we visit BMW Showroom and Museum that day. I am not particularly interested on cars, but I have fun in the showroom. I went for a test drive on a BMW once, and well, suffice to say that since then I've been dreaming of having my own BMW someday. Someday.

No I didn't do that pose on purpose haha

Gotta love the museum too!

You know that the word "museum" spells boring, but not this one. Normally I'll save the best for the last...BUT:

Ignore the boots, please X3

It takes quite a roundtrip to reach this car. The museum is constructed in a rather grandiose matter. We have to circle the bottom floor before we can reach the floor above us and so on. I think it has 3 floors in total.

After the BMW stuffs, we head to another destination. You can see what I see too on the way!

Ahem, our last stop of the day. This ... castle literally has a swan lake upfront! Sorry I don't remember the name of this castle (visited too many castle hehe), but if any of you recognize it, please let me know. Otherwise, I'll probably have to look at the schedule.. Where was the schedule again?

Anyway! Here's some pics. Love the fact that they're allowing us to take pics<3

I don't really like my boots for the day, hence you won't be seeing them often;) they somehow look like rainy boots, dontcha think? I think I won't be doing an outfit post for this one mwahaha

Creme outerwear - Kero Shop Orange Sweater - Zara Green silky shirt - Nyla (Invisible) Boots - DKNY

Well, stay tuned for the next post!;) Day 3's up!

East Europe Day 1

A very belated Happy New Year for you guys! <3

Sorry for the lack of  updates! I have been traveling a lot from December to January. Well I’ve always thought I loved traveling, but after three consecutive travelings…I might as well reconsider that thought haha.

I will first begin with my trip to East Europe from December 25th to January 7th. Generally it was a nice trip, but I have to say that West Europe is much more memorable compared to the East. I visited West Europe in 2011 when I hadn’t had this blog (and a decent camera) haha, so prolly I’ll share some photos of it later.

The flight took a whooping 13 hours from Singapore to Munich, Germany. Since the flight was on Christmas night, we got Log Cake as the dessert! It was my first time eating Log Cake, honestly. I have to say it’s one of the best dessert I’ve ever tasted on plane! <3 Too bad I only have the photo on my iPod.

Snapping some pics when we had a toilet stop. It was freeeee-zing.
With grandpa <3

Right after we landed, we visited the Neuschwanstein Castle.

I know, it’s hard to read XD nothing much to tell because I hadn’t heard of the castle before, so I wasn’t too excited.

It's the white castle up there.

We had to wait in line for more than 30 minutes to hop on a kind of a carriage to go to the castle. Going there by walking is possible, but it is not advised since the road is uphill. Before we actually entered the castle, we had lunch :3

Nom!

The castle itself:

Too bad we weren't allowed to take pics inside (the same rule applies for other castles as well). The only pics we were allowed to take were the views from balconies.

The amazing color of the sky.

It's like in story books<3

Since I wasn’t fully equipped (I’ll tell you more of this equipments later) on day one, I had to wear my Zara's coat almost all day, so the outfit post will largely consist of the coat. Wore Romwe’s apple green shirt and GOWIGASA’s lilac sweater beneath. Oh, and the shawl is from H&M. Boots from Zara. Bag from Celine.

See ya on the next post! :D

Recent Obsessions

So I have piled up so many clothes in the recent months (to compensate for the stress due to thesis and other things), but I haven't got time to snap some outfit photos. I will though, in this weekend! :) I have pretty much done my thesis revision. All that is left is to study Japanese, which is 1000 times more fun than revising my thesis.

Ahem, you may think that my recent obsessions have something to do with that...but they are not. Well, they are kinda related to Japanese though.

- NERDINESS & OTAKU-NESS ALERT-

I'm currently addicted to anime figures. Very very addicted. And this, of course, tortures my wallet. I think my problem is probably having too many interests. I love video games, clothes, manga(s), food, and now figures. I've got nothing to complain, though (other than my wallet). So far, these things keep me content and happy :)

What got me into these figures is, first of all, because of my bf. He's recently been an otaku, and his otaku-ness kinda revives my childhood otaku-ness. Honestly, it's the nerdy side of him whom I like most :3 let's see what he bought!

A Gundam.

Random thought: I can read some of the instructions woooo!

Almost done!

Ah ;~; *tears of joy*

I had fun just by watching the assembling process, although this is probably not for me. I mean, well I like watching and reading Gundam. You should too. In contrast to common belief, Gundam's stories are not only about wars and fighting. There are times when you, too, will start to question what is right and wrong. *cough* So back to my point, as much as I like the anime and manga, I am not really into Gundam figures.

What I'm into is something like this.

TAA-DAH! Introducing you to the Petite Nendoroid of Mami from Puella Magi Madoka Magica anime. I didn't pick her because I like the anime, actually. It's more because of the amazing details even though it is a petite figure. Even the photos can't justify the actual look.

For me it's like the anime character herself comes to life...in a chibi form :p
I used to think that the figures are overpriced, but when I see them with my own eyes, I kinda understand. The handiwork is excellent. The petite one like this is not expensive, only about IDR 60.000 or so, but the normal one will cost about IDR 400.000. For the normal one, you can change the expressions too *sigh*

Before I'll see you in my next post, here are some random pics of my recent parties.
Not very comfortable showing my arms in photos because I have these insecurities about my arms.. Everytime I gain some weight, the arms are the one who receive those fats -__- anyway I like the texture of my dress! ;) and of course, my flowery heels.

Oh, right. I am going to East Europe this December, so there will be lots of interesting posts. I have even planned the outfits lol lol I kinda wish I could go to Japan, though, instead of Europe.
I'll see you around! :)
