East Europe Day 1

A very belated Happy New Year for you guys! <3

Sorry for the lack of  updates! I have been traveling a lot from December to January. Well I’ve always thought I loved traveling, but after three consecutive travelings…I might as well reconsider that thought haha.

I will first begin with my trip to East Europe from December 25th to January 7th. Generally it was a nice trip, but I have to say that West Europe is much more memorable compared to the East. I visited West Europe in 2011 when I hadn’t had this blog (and a decent camera) haha, so prolly I’ll share some photos of it later.

The flight took a whooping 13 hours from Singapore to Munich, Germany. Since the flight was on Christmas night, we got Log Cake as the dessert! It was my first time eating Log Cake, honestly. I have to say it’s one of the best dessert I’ve ever tasted on plane! <3 Too bad I only have the photo on my iPod.

Snapping some pics when we had a toilet stop. It was freeeee-zing.
With grandpa <3

Right after we landed, we visited the Neuschwanstein Castle.

I know, it’s hard to read XD nothing much to tell because I hadn’t heard of the castle before, so I wasn’t too excited.

It's the white castle up there.

We had to wait in line for more than 30 minutes to hop on a kind of a carriage to go to the castle. Going there by walking is possible, but it is not advised since the road is uphill. Before we actually entered the castle, we had lunch :3

Nom!

The castle itself:

Too bad we weren't allowed to take pics inside (the same rule applies for other castles as well). The only pics we were allowed to take were the views from balconies.

The amazing color of the sky.

It's like in story books<3

Since I wasn’t fully equipped (I’ll tell you more of this equipments later) on day one, I had to wear my Zara's coat almost all day, so the outfit post will largely consist of the coat. Wore Romwe’s apple green shirt and GOWIGASA’s lilac sweater beneath. Oh, and the shawl is from H&M. Boots from Zara. Bag from Celine.

See ya on the next post! :D

The Distant World

Hello everyone! :D
Sorry for being totally missing during these few weeks (or has it been a month?).  I actually wore some outfits expecting to do outfit posts, but at the end of the day, I always ended up too shy to take photos outside haha

Have you watched Total Recall?
If you haven't, you totally should. A must if you're a fan of Collin Farrel (I am!). However, story-wise, I expected more. I mean, the sci-fi background is visionary and such, but the main story isn't that good.

Anyway, I wore this outfit some weeks ago, but since I wasn't able to take a pic back then, today was perfect. I thought of this look when I bought the crochet shorts. Some months ago, I purchased the mint (or apple green?) chiffon blouse from Romwe. I definitely like it, but I had difficulties in choosing the right bottom. Maybe it's time to throw my whole wardrobe -___- thank goodness I found the crochet shorts!

Oh right, I had my hair cut some weeks ago! ;) it feels A LOT lighter compared to my super long hair. I kinda look younger too at the same time, so no regret :p
Oh, and the Romwe blouse is awesome in many ways. It's one of my first purchases at Romwe, and I must say that I love it. The fabric is perfect!
I love my new hair.
Cherry chan necklace
Snatched my lil sis' cute turtle ring :3 if I tilt my finger, its head and feet can move
Accessorize bag and New Look pastel bangles
Last but not least -- My awesome Zara heels! It's the highest heels I've ever owned yet. I couldn't resist the color<3
This ends up as my facebook profile picture<3
Big thanks to my dad and lil sis for taking the photos :D I was such a clumsy model. I tried acting natural, but most of the times my faces turned out goofy D:

On another note, did you know that Final Fantasy Distant World will finally have their concert in Malaysia in November? I want to go sooooo bad. I think there's no way the orchestra will come to Indonesia, so my best chance is Malaysia. If you're a fan of Final Fantasy and its music, you will enjoy this concert. To know more, click here

Thanks for reading! :D

Easy Breezy Beachwalk - Bali Day 1

Hello everyone! I just got back from my trip with my family to Bali yesterday. Honestly I am not a huge fan of beaches because I hate getting tanned haha. I don't think sunblock helps much, so my trick not to get tanned while in Bali was walking on the shadows of things. I spent lots of my energy doing this, but I think of it as a form of exercise ;)

So we started our trip by having our lunch at Warung Made in Seminyak area. People say that this is a must-visit delicacy... Are they right?

Nasi Goreng (Fried Rice) Ala Made

Sate Ayam (Chicken Satay with Peanut Sauce)
Actually, the most famous dish is the Nasi Campur (not sure how to translate this... Steamed rice served with marinated meat, chopped chicken, and noodles?), but I don't really like Nasi Campur in general, so I opted for the fried rice. The fried rice was okay, I guess. Not so outstanding, actually. However, the chicken satay that my sis ordered was really delicious! :D
Verdict? Well, a must visit if you know what to order.

Then, we went to Legian to do some window shopping. Surfer Girl had some of the most updated clothings I've seen compared to what we have here in Surabaya, really. Too bad they closed the outlet in Galaxy Mall. I saw tie-dye shorts and tops, vintage tank tops, colorful shorts, galaxy skirts, and this list can go on and on :p

The bomb monument in Legian
I remember it being so hot that we ran to the nearest Gelato shop and bought some ice cream.

My sis' piano teacher suggested visiting Potato Heads Beach Club, so that was our next destination.
Arriving there... Well, you'll instantly know why that club is so famous. I didn't take any pic, but I'm sure you can take a look at its unique architecture if you google a bit ;)

My companion - The Apple Strudel
A random girl whom I crowned the best dress of the day haha. I'm almost 100% certain that she wears the Mango skirt I've been eyeing for a while now.
A random guy with his uber cute son<3 he noticed that I snapped a pic. He was smiling a bit :3
And so, time for outfit show-off! Since it was a holiday I tried to keep it as simple and comfortable as possible.

Kept the last two pics a bit dark on purpose a.k.a to hide my bunny teeth :p

Outfit: Red Tank Top, Yellow Shirt, and Braided Brown Belt from GOWIGASA || Denim Ripped Shorts from Cotton On || Peach Sandals from Ruby || Colorblock Earrings from Forever 21 || Owl Necklace || Red Watch from Peugeot Avenue || Sunnies belong to my bf

It was an amazing first day in Bali, nonetheless.
Will blog about the following days one by one each day! ;)

On another note, my favorite online shop, GOWIGASA, has just had its new arrivals. Make sure you take a look at it because it has some cutest clothings<3

Lady of the Lake

So, yesterday marks my fourth time (I think) staying in my grandpa’s vacant apartment during weekend. Ahem, you see, I live in East Surabaya while most of my friends (and my bf, of course:p) live in the west. The west also has lots more cafes and dining places compared to the east. Basically, in order to save my time and energy getting back-forth from east-west-east, I decided to make use of my grandpa’s apart;)
My grandparents left pretty much everything in place when they last visited the apartment, including the nifty decorations. Here are some of my favorites.

Ranked 3 – A glossy tea set.

Ranked 2 – Oooo I love how this screams “Japanese!” (or probably Chinese) to me. I’ve always been fascinated with Japanese culture. I mean, look at the tiny vase(?).

Ranked 1 – A shih tzu doll! Amazing how it resembles the real thing…if only I’d clean its fur.

I’ve been planning to use the apartment's garden as a background in my photoshoot muahahaha, but I haven’t got the chance to. I’ll share how it looks once I get the chance :D well staying in this apartment absolutely has some advantages;) I don't have to worry what time I'll be home, and I can have fun without being troubled by the thought.

Oh right, have you seen Dark Shadows? I watched it yesterday. Bottomline? Terribly spooked by the dark atmosphere -_- I can’t never watch movies with ghosts in it… Gahhhh they always scare the hell out of me. Yesterday I slept with one eye opened because my imagination was playing tricks on me. Too bad, since it was an okay movie. It will probably be intriguing to analyze! :p (English Lit student, at your service).
Btw I couldn’t stop staring at Vicky’s outfits, literally.

This would be my definite favorite. Cape coat with red buttons and belt, white tights, and mary jane

Lastly…outfit photos for last Friday night! <3

My highest pair of heels everrrrr. My legs look awesome with it :D

What I did with my iPod :p

As usual: a sunset sky. Too bad I couldn't snap clearer pic.
Nevertheless the sky's color was very beautiful ;)

A preview of an upcoming look!<3

P.S: The title of this post is taken from an entity who gave King Arthur his most famous Excalibur sword. Been reading a lot about King Arthur thanks to Fate/Zero, and I’d just found out that in contrast to most films about King Arthur, Excalibur is not the sword that he pulls out of the stone.

I'm going to close this post with a smile!<3
