East Europe Day 1

A very belated Happy New Year for you guys! <3

Sorry for the lack of  updates! I have been traveling a lot from December to January. Well I’ve always thought I loved traveling, but after three consecutive travelings…I might as well reconsider that thought haha.

I will first begin with my trip to East Europe from December 25th to January 7th. Generally it was a nice trip, but I have to say that West Europe is much more memorable compared to the East. I visited West Europe in 2011 when I hadn’t had this blog (and a decent camera) haha, so prolly I’ll share some photos of it later.

The flight took a whooping 13 hours from Singapore to Munich, Germany. Since the flight was on Christmas night, we got Log Cake as the dessert! It was my first time eating Log Cake, honestly. I have to say it’s one of the best dessert I’ve ever tasted on plane! <3 Too bad I only have the photo on my iPod.

Snapping some pics when we had a toilet stop. It was freeeee-zing.
With grandpa <3

Right after we landed, we visited the Neuschwanstein Castle.

I know, it’s hard to read XD nothing much to tell because I hadn’t heard of the castle before, so I wasn’t too excited.

It's the white castle up there.

We had to wait in line for more than 30 minutes to hop on a kind of a carriage to go to the castle. Going there by walking is possible, but it is not advised since the road is uphill. Before we actually entered the castle, we had lunch :3

Nom!

The castle itself:

Too bad we weren't allowed to take pics inside (the same rule applies for other castles as well). The only pics we were allowed to take were the views from balconies.

The amazing color of the sky.

It's like in story books<3

Since I wasn’t fully equipped (I’ll tell you more of this equipments later) on day one, I had to wear my Zara's coat almost all day, so the outfit post will largely consist of the coat. Wore Romwe’s apple green shirt and GOWIGASA’s lilac sweater beneath. Oh, and the shawl is from H&M. Boots from Zara. Bag from Celine.

See ya on the next post! :D

The Milky Way

I didn't plan to blog today, so please excuse my goofy faces haha.

My family and I went to Jade Imperial for today's dinner. My mum initially wanted Semanggi, but we figured the food court would be crowded, so we opted for Jade Imperial instead. People said their La Mian was good (and much cheaper too compared to some other restaurants which offer La Mian).

Originally craved for the first one, but it was sold out, sadly. I've always been a fan of Tom Yam, so I gave it a try.

Yum, yum! I'd give it 9 out of 10, really! I got runny nose thanks to the spicy soup, but oh well it was delicious!
Chrysanthemum tea as our drink<3

Candid shots snapped by my dad. I look quite elegant while eating and drinking, lol. Frankly speaking, I'm quite the opposite in real life XD

Durian Pudding -- my mum's order. Blah, I'm not a fan of durians, but I must admit that the presentation makes it look delicious :9

My choice and sis'. Mango pudding FTW, though we find it a bit over the top for the dessert to cost almost the same as the La Mian. The pudding is so-so, too.

The final verdict? The La Mian is a must-try, indeed! ;) I only tried their Tom Yam La Mian, but my dad, mum, and sis enjoyed their La Mian too. Their serving is not too big. I didn't really feel full after eating the La Mian, but then again maybe my stomach capacity is too huge :3

Oh, right. The title of today's post is from my top....which is my very first galaxy clothing! :) bought it at a local online shop. The top was actually a T-shirt. You can't see it in the pic, but I cut the neckline and the shoulder and make it a cut-out top. Now it's more wearable! (I'm not a fan of T-shirt)

My sis snapped this when we were at the mall... I pretended there weren't people haha.

Again, it's my favorite blazer ever from GOWIGASA

Excuse my random poses from this point on.

I used to think that this pair of high heels are very very high. Now when I wear it... It's not that high >_> it's chunky too, so it's really comfortable to wear.

Despite the goofy face, I like how this photo turns out!<3

Suddenly when we were about to leave, people start coming out too haha. They make a great background! :p

It's a bit blur-ish, but I love this pic! I'm literally staring at Pocky.
Thanks for reading!<3

Easy Breezy Beachwalk - Bali Day 1

Hello everyone! I just got back from my trip with my family to Bali yesterday. Honestly I am not a huge fan of beaches because I hate getting tanned haha. I don't think sunblock helps much, so my trick not to get tanned while in Bali was walking on the shadows of things. I spent lots of my energy doing this, but I think of it as a form of exercise ;)

So we started our trip by having our lunch at Warung Made in Seminyak area. People say that this is a must-visit delicacy... Are they right?

Nasi Goreng (Fried Rice) Ala Made

Sate Ayam (Chicken Satay with Peanut Sauce)
Actually, the most famous dish is the Nasi Campur (not sure how to translate this... Steamed rice served with marinated meat, chopped chicken, and noodles?), but I don't really like Nasi Campur in general, so I opted for the fried rice. The fried rice was okay, I guess. Not so outstanding, actually. However, the chicken satay that my sis ordered was really delicious! :D
Verdict? Well, a must visit if you know what to order.

Then, we went to Legian to do some window shopping. Surfer Girl had some of the most updated clothings I've seen compared to what we have here in Surabaya, really. Too bad they closed the outlet in Galaxy Mall. I saw tie-dye shorts and tops, vintage tank tops, colorful shorts, galaxy skirts, and this list can go on and on :p

The bomb monument in Legian
I remember it being so hot that we ran to the nearest Gelato shop and bought some ice cream.

My sis' piano teacher suggested visiting Potato Heads Beach Club, so that was our next destination.
Arriving there... Well, you'll instantly know why that club is so famous. I didn't take any pic, but I'm sure you can take a look at its unique architecture if you google a bit ;)

My companion - The Apple Strudel
A random girl whom I crowned the best dress of the day haha. I'm almost 100% certain that she wears the Mango skirt I've been eyeing for a while now.
A random guy with his uber cute son<3 he noticed that I snapped a pic. He was smiling a bit :3
And so, time for outfit show-off! Since it was a holiday I tried to keep it as simple and comfortable as possible.

Kept the last two pics a bit dark on purpose a.k.a to hide my bunny teeth :p

Outfit: Red Tank Top, Yellow Shirt, and Braided Brown Belt from GOWIGASA || Denim Ripped Shorts from Cotton On || Peach Sandals from Ruby || Colorblock Earrings from Forever 21 || Owl Necklace || Red Watch from Peugeot Avenue || Sunnies belong to my bf

It was an amazing first day in Bali, nonetheless.
Will blog about the following days one by one each day! ;)

On another note, my favorite online shop, GOWIGASA, has just had its new arrivals. Make sure you take a look at it because it has some cutest clothings<3

The Green Effect ft. DIY Starlign Card

I can be so behind the schedule when it comes to updating my blog *sigh*

Anyway, the last Saturday, 5th of May, was my bf’s 21st birthday. I always have that sort of happy-go-lucky feeling whenever his birthday comes, making my mood tons of times better than normal days. Why? Why of course, I’m expecting a nice dinner haha! I’m such a glutton X3 However, this year (or at least last weekend) we didn’t get to go anywhere because we couldn’t bear to leave Kelsey. And who’s Kelsey again?
 Kelsey, the “it” dog

She’s actually my bf’s but I kinda feel like she’s mine too since I go along pretty well with her. She was a bit depressed because my bf’s mum wasn’t home, so we figured we might as well play with her. At first I was a bit disappointed (ohhhh my nice dinner T^T) but I turned out to be fun! My bf and I ended up eating Gado-Gado and Lontong Mie at Lionita.
Gado-gado (salad with peanut sauce dressing)

Lontong Mie (Rice cakes with noodles… and fried tofu :3)

Pumpkin Doughnuts from Pump-O as snacks. Their peanut butter topping is a must try<3

Btw, this is what I got for my bf for his birthday.
Razer Hydra (he asked for this…he’d better give me something nice for my birthday later haha). The descriptions are actually pretty interestingXD should probably give it a shot too.

Aside from this, I always make sure that I make something handmade for his birthday, and for this year it is a card. Starlign = star aligned, as opposed to star crossed :p

Cover: baby blue tuxedo and baby pink Victorian dress (laces are actually from a tissue paper I got in a rice box… The moment I saw it I knew I just had to save it :D)

Inside: Left - An illustration drawn by me , Right – A personal message (purposely shot blur-ish since it’s personal lawl :p)
The trick here is to use thick double tapes. The rest is just standard paper cuttings. Well generally I’m satisfied with the result, though I’m not too happy with the neat aspect.

I don’t feel like posting the outfit I wore that day because it was just sweaters plus short pants. Pretty standard, but we stayed at home all day anyway XD sooo I’m going to post what I wore in my relative’s engagement on Sunday.
Can’t help but to feel too green-ish. Or am I being overly sensitive?

My Everbest pumps are back! I guess they can’t really stand idling inside my wardrobe.

Outfit: Green Dress from Mango || Baby Brown Envelope Bag || Everbest Pumps || Mum's Necklace
So how was your weekend everyone?

EDIT: I forgot to add these photos I took during Saturday's sunset moment ;)
